Description
A height-adjustable antique brass floor lamp with a metal shade, built for reading nooks and living room corners.
The Morris pairs a slim metal column with a compact metal shade, so the light lands where you need it instead of flooding the room. The antique brass finish has a warm, slightly aged tone that sits comfortably with traditional and transitional interiors, and the 39 to 51 inch height range lets you tune it to your chair or sofa.
Best for
- Living room corners beside a sofa or armchair, adjusted so the shade sits just above shoulder height
- Bedrooms as a reading lamp next to a chair, where a table lamp would be too low
- Home offices and dens that need focused task light without a desk lamp footprint
- Small apartments where one adjustable lamp covers both ambient and reading duty
Not ideal for
- Rooms that need broad ambient light - the compact metal shade directs light downward rather than filling a space
- Spaces where you want a large drum or fabric shade as a visual anchor
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. The fixture uses one 6.2W LED bulb (included), which is a modest output suited to reading and accent light rather than lighting a whole room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer. Because the bulb is included and the shade is metal, light is directed downward in a focused pool - good for tasks, less so for washing walls.
Sizing and fit
Overall 10.5 in long x 15.5 in wide x 39 to 51 in high, with a 10 in base and a 3.75 x 4 in metal shade. The adjustable height works with standard 8 to 9 ft ceilings and most seating heights. At 26 lbs the base is weighted enough to stay put on carpet or hardwood.
