Description
A one-light wall sconce for bedrooms and hallways, finished in black with satin nickel accents.
Part of the House of Troy Logan Collection, this sconce pairs a metal shade with a matching metal backplate for a clean, contemporary look. The black and satin nickel finish is a crisp, high-contrast combination that suits modern and industrial-leaning rooms. A full-range dimmer on the backplate lets you tune the light without a separate wall switch.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading sconce
- Hallways and stairwells that need an accent light
- Living rooms and sitting areas as a pair flanking artwork
- Home offices and studies where a focused task light is useful
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you need a large primary light source - this is a single-bulb accent sconce
- Outdoor or damp areas - no location rating is specified by the manufacturer
- Spaces where you want a flush-to-wall profile - this projects 5 in from the wall
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes one 100W type A bulb, which is typically enough for reading and accent light rather than lighting a whole room.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose - the sconce ships without a bulb. A warm white bulb (around 2700-3000K) suits the black and satin nickel finish and gives a soft glow. The full-range dimmer on the backplate lets you lower the output for evening ambience.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 9-12 in wide, 5 in deep, and 10.5 in tall, with a 5 in diameter backplate. The 5 in projection suits bedside and hallway placement. Shade measures (3.5 x 5) (5.5 x 6) x 10.5 in.
