Description
A 57-inch adjustable floor lamp in weathered brass with a black metal shade - a focused reading light for living rooms and bedrooms.
The Hyde Park pairs a slim column with a pivoting metal shade, so you can aim light exactly where you need it. The weathered brass finish has a muted, aged tone that warms up traditional and transitional rooms, while the black metal shade keeps the look crisp and directional.
Best for
- Living rooms and dens - a reading light beside a sofa or armchair
- Primary bedrooms - task light next to a chair or reading nook
- Home offices where you want directional light without a desk lamp
- Rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings where a 57 in lamp sits at a comfortable seated height
Not ideal for
- Very small rooms - the 15.5 in extension and 10 in base need floor space
- Anyone wanting a plug-in-free look - this lamp requires an outlet and cord management
- Spaces needing broad ambient light - the metal shade directs light downward
How bright is it?
Takes one 100W Type A incandescent bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose - a 100W-equivalent LED typically gives around 1600 lumens, enough for focused reading light.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by the bulb you install. A warm white bulb (2700-3000K) gives a soft, golden reading glow; a cooler bulb suits task work. The hi-lo switch on the column lets you step between two brightness levels.
Sizing and fit
Stands 57 in tall with a 15.5 in extension and a 10 in base. The shade measures 5 x 9 x 7 in. Best in living rooms, bedrooms, and offices with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
