House of Troy Slim-line 14in 2-Light Picture Light | Traditional Satin Brass | Gallery & Living Room Art Lighting | 14 in Shade, 7.5 | Model DSL14-51

A slim picture light in satin brass that mounts above artwork to provide even, focused illumination.

The Slim-line picture light is designed to highlight paintings, photographs, and prints without drawing attention to the fixture itself. The satin brass finish offers a warm, understated look that complements wood frames and traditional decor. The 14-inch shade and 7.5-inch extension position light directly onto the art, and the direct-wire design keeps cords hidden.

Best for

• Living rooms and hallways with framed artwork that needs accent lighting
• Galleries and art walls where multiple pieces are displayed
• Home offices with a feature print or certificate on the wall
• Bedrooms with artwork above a dresser or headboard

Not ideal for

• Very large artworks wider than 14 inches - the shade may not cover the full width
• Rooms where direct wiring is not feasible (requires hardwired installation)
• Spaces that need general ambient lighting rather than accent light

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulbs installed; the fixture uses two 15W T4 incandescent bulbs (included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but this configuration is intended for accent lighting of artwork, not for room illumination.

Light color and feel

Light color depends on the bulbs. With the included incandescent bulbs, expect a warm, yellowish glow that enhances the colors of paintings and photographs.
