Description
A one-light swing arm wall lamp in antique brass for bedside reading and living room accents.
The Decorative swing arm lamp brings a classic antique brass finish to a practical design: the articulated arm extends and retracts so you can pull light close for reading, then fold it back against the wall. The metal shade and simple silhouette suit traditional and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Primary bedrooms, mounted beside the bed in place of a table lamp
- Living rooms and reading nooks where a wall-mounted light saves floor and table space
- Home offices or studies that need adjustable task lighting
- Hallways and entryways as a decorative accent light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - no damp or wet rating is specified by the manufacturer
- Large rooms needing general illumination - this is a task and accent light, not a primary room light
- Spaces where you want a plug-in lamp - this fixture requires hardwired installation
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you install. It takes one 60W Type A incandescent bulb (not included), roughly equivalent to a standard 60W household bulb - enough for reading and task work, not for lighting a whole room.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb chosen. With a warm incandescent bulb, expect a soft, golden tone that flatters wood and brass interiors. The metal shade directs light downward for focused reading.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 13 in wide x 13 in deep x 13 in high, with an 11.5 in extension from the wall and a 3.5 x 1.75 in backplate. The 5 x 10 x 6.75 in shade and swing arm make it a good fit beside a bed or reading chair where you want light that can be pulled close.
