Description
A 24-inch three-light picture light in polished brass, made to wash large canvases, gallery walls, and statement artwork in even, glare-free light.
From House of Troy's Classic Contemporary collection, this American-made picture light brings a warm polished brass finish to a slim 24-inch metal shade that spans wide frames without crowding them. The in-line hi-lo switch lets you adjust brightness right at the cord, so the same piece works for a bright reading wall by day and a softer accent at night.
Best for
- Living rooms and hallways with oversized artwork 30-48 in wide that needs even top-down illumination
- Home galleries and stairwell art walls where several pieces are lit in a row
- Traditional and transitional rooms where warm brass ties into hardware and frames
- Home offices and studies with a large framed print or map above a desk
Not ideal for
- Small frames under 20 in wide - the 24-inch shade will overhang noticeably
- Anyone wanting a plug-free install: this model is a hardwired fixture and needs a wall box or canopy wiring point
- Very tight spaces where the 5-7 in wall projection would collide with a door swing or tall furniture
How bright is it?
Three 40W candelabra bulbs give roughly 1,300-1,500 lumens total - bright enough to make colors and brushwork read clearly on a large canvas, but still an accent light rather than a room light. Bulbs are not included.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. Warm 2700K-3000K bulbs flatter oil paintings and warm brass frames; 3500K-4000K bulbs suit photography and modern prints. The in-line hi-lo switch gives two brightness levels, and the fixture is CA Title 20 compliant when fitted with CFL bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The shade is 24 in wide, the body projects 5-7 in from the wall, and the profile is 2 in tall - a good match for art 30-48 in wide hung at eye level. Check that the 7 in maximum projection clears nearby doorways and tall casegoods.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No - three 40W 25B10 or 40B10 incandescent bulbs are required and sold separately.
Is it dimmable? It uses an in-line hi-lo switch for two brightness levels rather than a wall dimmer.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? No - it is an indoor picture light and not rated for damp or wet locations.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified by the manufacturer in the supplied data.
Will polished brass tarnish over time? Polished brass is a living finish that can develop a soft patina; a dry cloth keeps it bright.
