Description
A black adjustable floor lamp with a white softback shade, built for reading corners and living room task lighting.
Part of the Club Collection, this floor lamp pairs a black metal base with a tapered white softback shade for a clean, traditional look. The height adjusts from 45 to 59 inches so you can set the shade at eye level whether you are seated in a low armchair or on a taller sofa. The black finish is easy to pair with both dark and light furniture.
Best for
- Living rooms and family rooms where you need task light beside a sofa or reading chair
- Bedrooms as a bedside reading lamp when a table lamp won't fit
- Home offices and studies where the adjustable height lets you aim light onto a desk
- Traditional and transitional interiors with black or dark wood furniture
Not ideal for
- Rooms where you want a very bright primary light - this is a single-bulb task lamp, not a room-filling fixture
- Spaces with very low ceilings where the 59-inch maximum height would crowd the room
- Outdoor or damp locations - no wet or damp rating is stated for this lamp
How bright is it?
Takes one 100W 3-way medium-base bulb (not included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but a 100W incandescent typically produces around 1600 lumens at its highest setting - enough for reading and close tasks, not for lighting an entire room.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a warm white incandescent or 2700K LED, the white softback shade diffuses a soft, even glow that flatters skin tones and wood finishes. The 3-way socket lets you switch between low, medium, and high brightness.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 13 in deep x 13 in wide x 45 to 59 in high. The 10-inch base fits comfortably beside most sofas and chairs. The shade measures 6.5 x 13 x 10 inches.
