Description
A one-light floor lamp in antique brass with a metal shade, sized for reading corners, bedside seating, and living room chairs.
The Andover keeps a low profile: a compact 10 in square base, a slim metal stem, and a small metal shade that directs light down where you need it. The antique brass finish is warm and traditional, at home beside leather chairs, wood side tables, and upholstered seating.
Best for
- Living room reading corners beside a chair or sofa
- Bedrooms where a floor lamp replaces a nightstand lamp
- Home offices and studies that need a focused downlight
- Traditional and transitional interiors with brass and wood accents
Not ideal for
- Rooms that need broad ambient light - the small metal shade is directional
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you plan to use the full 52 in height
- Outdoor or damp locations; this is an indoor floor lamp
How bright is it?
Takes one incandescent bulb (not included). Wattage and lumen output are not specified by the manufacturer, so brightness depends on the bulb you choose.
Light color and feel
Light color follows the bulb you install; a warm white bulb suits the antique brass finish and living room settings. The lamp switches on and off at the socket. Dimmability is not specified.
Sizing and fit
Overall 16 in long x 10 in wide x 45 in to 52 in high, with a 10 in x 10 in base and an 8 in x 3 in x 3 in metal shade. The adjustable height range lets it sit beside a low chair or a taller reading position. Weighs 21 lbs.
