Description
A 14-inch direct-wire LED picture light in black and polished brass, designed to illuminate artwork in living rooms and hallways.
The Amelia collection combines a matte black finish with polished brass accents for a modern, high-contrast look that suits contemporary and transitional interiors. The metal shade directs light evenly across the canvas without glare, and the integrated LED is diffused for a smooth, UV-free glow that helps protect artwork from fading.
Best for
- Living rooms and hallways with medium to large artwork (up to 30 inches wide)
- Home offices or studies where a focused accent light is needed over a desk or reading area
- Galleries and art walls that require consistent, low-UV illumination
- Modern or industrial interiors with black or brass hardware
Not ideal for
- Very large canvases wider than 30 inches - consider a longer picture light for full coverage
- Spaces without a direct-wire electrical box, as this fixture requires hardwired installation
- Bathrooms or damp locations - this fixture is ETL listed for dry locations only
How bright is it?
360 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 30W incandescent bulb. This is an accent light intended to highlight artwork, not to serve as primary room lighting.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white with a 90+ CRI. The warm tone mimics traditional incandescent light and enhances the colors in paintings and photographs. The high CRI ensures accurate color rendering, making it ideal for art display. Dimmable with a standard dimmer for adjustable brightness.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 14 inches wide x 10 inches deep x 5 inches high (adjustable depth from 10 to 18 inches and height from 5 to 12 inches). The backplate measures 5 inches in diameter. The 14-inch shade is sized for artwork approximately 24 to 30 inches wide. Works well in rooms with 8 to 10 foot ceilings.
