Description
A 20-inch single-light library wall lamp in weathered brass, made for bedside reading and focused task light over a desk or chair.
House of Troy's library lamp pairs a warm weathered brass finish with a classic swing-arm silhouette. The arm extends 16.5 inches from the wall, letting you position the tapered shade exactly where you need it, then fold it back when the reading is done. A full-range dimmer on the fixture takes you from bright task light to a low evening glow.
Best for
- Bedrooms - a wall-mounted reading lamp that keeps the nightstand clear
- Home offices and studies, swung over a desk for focused light
- Living room reading chairs where floor space is tight
- Traditional and transitional interiors that suit a warm brass finish
Not ideal for
- Narrow wall spaces - the 16.5-inch extension needs clearance
- Rooms needing a primary overhead light; this is a task and accent lamp
- Spaces that require a hardwired-only installation - this is a plug-in style wall lamp
How bright is it?
One 100W Type A incandescent bulb (not included) delivers roughly 1,600 lumens - plenty for reading and close work, with the dimmer letting you soften it for ambient use.
Light color and feel
Bulb-dependent: a warm-white incandescent or 2700K LED bulb gives a cozy reading light that complements the weathered brass finish. Use dimmable bulbs with the built-in full-range dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall 6 in wide x 13 in deep x 17 in high with a 16.5-inch arm extension and 5-inch backplate. The 5 x 9 x 7-inch shade is compact enough for bedside use while still spreading useful light.
