Description
A tall 23-inch single-light wall sconce in black with a fabric drum shade, made for bedroom, hallway, and living room accent lighting.
The WL308 pairs a slim black metal stem with a knurled detail and a tailored fabric shade, giving it a crisp, transitional look that suits both traditional and modern interiors. At 23 inches tall it reads as a vertical accent rather than a compact vanity light, so it works well flanking a bed, a mirror, or a console.
Best for
- Primary bedrooms, mounted on either side of the bed in place of table lamps
- Hallways and stairwells where a slim vertical accent light adds warmth
- Living rooms flanking a fireplace, artwork, or console table
- Entryways and foyers that need a soft, layered light source
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - no damp or wet location rating is stated for this fixture
- Low ceilings or tight spaces where a 23-inch-tall sconce would crowd the wall
- Anyone wanting a plug-in sconce - this is direct-wire only
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you install. The fixture takes one 60W candelabra-base B10 bulb (not included), so with a typical LED equivalent you get roughly 500-800 lumens - enough for accent and ambient light, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature follows your bulb choice. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, golden tone that flatters the fabric shade and black finish; a cooler bulb reads crisper and more modern. Dimming depends on the bulb and wall dimmer you pair it with.
Sizing and fit
Overall 6 in wide x 8 in deep x 23 in tall, with a 5 in round backplate and a 5 x 6 x 6 in fabric shade. The 8-inch projection means it stands off the wall noticeably, so leave clearance in narrow hallways. Works well on standard 8-9 ft walls.
