Description
A traditional European hanging lantern for covered porches and entryways, finished in Regency Bronze with clear seedy glass.
The Trellis hanging lantern brings old-world character to outdoor spaces with a large scroll arm, cast loop finial, and rivet detailing. The Regency Bronze finish has a deep, warm tone that pairs naturally with brick, stone, and wood exteriors, while the clear seedy glass softens the light into a gentle glow.
Best for
- Covered front porches and porticos where guests arrive
- Covered patios and pergolas with a beam or ceiling for hanging
- Traditional and European-style homes with bronze or dark hardware
- Entryways that need a warm welcome light rather than bright task lighting
Not ideal for
- Exposed locations with no overhead cover - this lantern is damp rated, not wet rated
- Low ceilings under 8 ft where a 23 in tall hanging lantern would hang too close to head height
- Modern or minimalist exteriors that call for clean, unornamented lines
How bright is it?
Uses three 60W candelabra bulbs (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose - with standard 60W-equivalent LED candelabra bulbs, expect roughly 2400-2700 lumens total, enough to light a porch or entry area. It is an accent and welcome light, not a substitute for a primary exterior floodlight.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you install. Warm white (2700K-3000K) suits the Regency Bronze finish and traditional architecture; the clear seedy glass diffuses the light slightly for a softer, less harsh look than clear glass.
Sizing and fit
Measures 11 in wide x 23.25 in high with a 4.5 in diameter canopy and 72 in of wire. Best suited to porches and covered patios with ceilings at least 9 ft high so the lantern hangs clear of foot traffic. Install position is up.
