Description
A 40-inch linear chandelier for kitchen islands and dining rooms, finished in aged zinc with mesh shades and cast socket covers.
Rigby takes the classic Americana barn light and reworks it as a retro-industrial interior piece. The aged zinc finish gives it a weathered, vintage feel, while mesh shades and cast socket covers add authentic industrial detail. It's a statement fixture that works equally well over a long island or a dining table.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung as the primary light source over the counter
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table 6-8 seats
- Open-concept spaces where you want a linear focal point
- Industrial, farmhouse, or vintage-inspired interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 40-inch drop
- Small spaces where a 40-inch span would overwhelm the room
How bright is it?
Uses three 60W medium-base bulbs (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose - with standard 60W equivalent LEDs you'd get roughly 2400-2700 lumens total, enough to light a kitchen island or dining table as the main light source.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting feel in a dining room, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. For task lighting over a kitchen island, 3000K-3500K works well. This fixture is not dimmable as listed - check your bulb and dimmer compatibility if you want dimming.
