A 36-inch three-light island light with cone-shaped exotic purple steel shades and a matte black finish, built for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Orwell collection takes its cues from vintage factory lighting: Exposed mechanical details, open-top cone shades, and a deep matte black frame with a smooth, non-reflective sheen. The exotic purple shades are the bold part - a saturated, flat-matte purple that turns the fixture into a color statement over a counter. Because the shades are open at the top, light escapes upward as well as down, so you get ambient fill instead of a hard pool of light.

Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With three 100W-max E26 bulbs installed, this fixture can deliver roughly 4,500-4,800 lumens total - enough to serve as the main light over a kitchen island. Bulbs are not included, so output is up to you.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. Warm 2700K-3000K bulbs suit the industrial look and flatter wood and brass; 3500K-4000K gives a crisper task-light feel for cooking. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer for evening-level lighting.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, it is dimmable. Use a dimmer rated for the bulbs you install; a standard wall dimmer compatible with your chosen bulbs will work.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
