The Orwell Island Light pairs a bright, mirror-like chrome frame with three deep, saturated matte purple steel shades for a vintage, factory-inspired look. The open-top cone shades let light escape upward for extra ambient glow, and the rod-hung design is sloped-ceiling compatible so you can set the hanging height to suit your space.

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on your bulbs. It takes three E26 medium-base bulbs up to 100W each (not included), for a maximum of 300W total - enough to serve as the main light over a kitchen island or dining table.

Light color and feel

Color temperature is set by your bulb choice - no bulbs are included. The fixture is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs, so you can move from bright task light to a softer dinner-party glow.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 35.75 in W x 10 in D x 14.5 in H. Hanging height adjusts from a 17.13 in minimum to a 59.13 in maximum using the included 1 x 6 in rod and 3 x 12 in rods. The 4.88 in round canopy fits standard junction boxes.

All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
