The Orwell is a utilitarian design with a vintage, factory-inspired aesthetic: Exposed mechanical details, a warm antiqued brass finish with a fine circular brushed texture, and an open-top cone shade. The Exotic Purple shade is a deep, saturated purple with a flat matte sheen, so it reads as a deliberate pop of color against the brass. Is the bulb included? No. It requires one E26 medium base bulb (A19 / Type A shape), max 100W, sold separately.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, it is dimmable. Use a dimmer rated for the bulb you install; the manufacturer does not specify a dimmer brand.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is damp location rated, so bathrooms and covered porches are fine. It is not wet rated - do not install it in an uncovered outdoor location.

What's the warranty? 1 year limited.

Can I hang several of these together over an island? Yes. The 120 in cable and 17.5-131.5 in height range make it easy to line up two or three at a consistent height, and the collection offers five finishes and thirteen shade styles if you want to mix colors.
