How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It takes one E26 bulb up to 100W, so you can go from a soft 40W-equivalent glow to a bright 100W output. The open-top shade lets light escape upward, so it's best for ambient and accent lighting rather than primary room illumination.

Light color is determined by your bulb choice. For a warm, inviting feel, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb; for a cooler, more modern look, try 4000K. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb.
