Description
A plug-in swing arm wall lamp with a bold yellow cone shade, built for reading nooks, bedside tables, and home office desks.
The Orwell takes its cues from vintage factory lighting - exposed mechanical details, a matte black steel arm, and a saturated auric yellow cone shade that adds a shot of color without shouting. Because it plugs into a standard outlet, you get wall-mounted task lighting without hiring an electrician. The swing arm extends and the head pivots, so you can aim light exactly where you need it.

How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because it depends on the bulb. With one 100W max A19 bulb it delivers strong, focused task light; a 60W-equivalent LED is plenty for reading.
Light color and feel
Color temperature comes from your bulb. The yellow steel shade warms the light slightly, so 2700K-3000K bulbs give the most comfortable reading glow. Dimmable with a compatible dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall 10 in W x 11.5 in D x 9 in H with an 11.5 in extension and a 5.13 in round backplate. The swing arm reaches out from the wall, so leave clearance beside the bed or desk. Height adjusts from 9 in to 11.25 in.

Is the bulb included? No. It takes one E26 medium-base A19 bulb, 100W max, sold separately.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, it is dimmable. Use a dimmer rated for the bulb you install.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is damp-location rated and ETL listed, so bathrooms and covered porches are acceptable. It is not wet rated - keep it out of direct rain.
What's the warranty? 1 year limited.
Does it need to be hardwired? No - it is plug-in with a rotary switch on the canopy, so it works in rentals and rooms without existing wiring.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
