Three clear glass dome shades sit on a slim steel bar finished in aged brass - a warm, antiqued gold with darker undertones and a fine brushed texture. The open glass lets the bulbs show, so the look changes with whatever bulbs you choose.

Best for

Kitchen islands 6 ft and longer - the 40-inch bar spans the counter and lights prep work below

Dining rooms and breakfast nooks that want a farmhouse or industrial anchor

Open-concept kitchens where the fixture is visible from the living area

Sloped or flat ceilings - the rod-and-chain mount adjusts from 13.13 to 63 inches

Not ideal for

Bathrooms, covered porches, or any space with moisture - this fixture is rated for dry locations only

Very small kitchens or islands under 4 ft - the 40-inch width will overwhelm the space

Anyone wanting a fully enclosed shade - the clear glass shows the bulbs directly

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulbs you install. With three 100W-equivalent bulbs it delivers strong task lighting for a kitchen island; with lower-wattage or vintage-style bulbs it reads as softer ambient light. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.

Light color and feel

Color temperature is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. Warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) suit the aged brass finish and flatter wood and stone counters. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer to shift from bright prep light to a low evening glow.

Sizing and fit

Overall 40 in W x 10.88 in D x 8.5 in H. Hanging height adjusts from 13.13 in to 63 in using the two included 12-inch rods, and the canopy works on sloped or flat ceilings. Plan on roughly 30-36 inches of clearance between the bottom of the fixture and your countertop.

Specifications

Part of the Duncan Collection

Item Type: Island Light

Fixture Finish: Aged Brass

Fixture Material: Steel

Shade Color/Finish: Clear Glass

Shade Material: Glass

Overall Color/Finish: Aged Brass

Material: Steel, Glass

Light Fixture Shape: Linear

Light Fixture Subtype: Island

Shade Shape: Dome

Hanging Type: Rod & Chain

Backplate/Canopy Shape: Round

Number of Tiers: 1

Sloped Ceiling Compatible: True

System Type: Hardwired

Socket Quantity: 3

Full Fixture Max Wattage: 300 W

Bulb Shape: A19

Socket Type: E26

Light Bulb Type: Type A

Lamp Type Details: 3 x 100W(M)

Voltage: 120 V

Dimmable: True

Indoor/Outdoor Use: Indoor Use Only

Commercial and/or Residential Use: Both

Location Definition: Dry

Safety Rating: ETL

Title 20: True

CA AB-1817 (PFAS) Compliant: True

Recyclable Packaging: True

Required Assembly: Partial Assembly

Product Care: Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth.

Warranty: 1 Year Limited

Style: Country/Farmhouse

Color Category: Brass/Gold

Room Type: Kitchen

Overall Dimensions: 10.88 in D x 40 in W x 8.5 in H

Shade Dimensions: 10.88 in D x 10.88 in W x 5 in H

Canopy Dimensions: 8.25 in W x 4.5 in D x 0.88 in H

Chain/Cable/Stem Length: 2 - 12 in Rods

Minimum Height: 13.13 in

Maximum Height: 63 in

Item Weight: 12.61 lbs.

Frequently asked

Is the bulb included? No. It requires three E26 medium-base A19 bulbs, max 100W each, sold separately.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, it is dimmable.
