Fanimation Wrap Custom 72in 3-Blade Smart Ceiling Fan | Brushed Satin Brass and Black Composite Blades | Covered Patio | Model FPD8531BS-72BL

A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with sculpted black composite blades and a brushed satin brass motor housing, designed for covered outdoor and large indoor spaces.

The Wrap Custom's smoothly curved and twisted blades create a striking visual statement while the high-efficiency DC motor moves air powerfully and quietly. Damp-rated and Energy Star certified, this fan is built to handle humidity in covered patios, porches, sunrooms, and bathrooms. This version does not include a light kit, offering a clean, minimalist profile ideal for areas where overhead lighting is not needed. Control it with the included handheld remote or your smart device via the FanSync app.

Best for

• Covered patios and porches where damp-rated construction is essential
• Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, mounted on flat or sloped ceilings
• Sunrooms and three-season rooms with high humidity
• Bathrooms and laundry rooms that need reliable air circulation
• Bedrooms and home offices where whisper-quiet operation matters

Not ideal for

• Areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
• Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft unless you use a flush mount (not included) to maintain safe clearance
• Spaces needing integrated lighting - this model has no light kit (add one separately if compatible)

How bright is it?

This fan does not include a light kit, so it provides no illumination on its own. It is compatible with an optional integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that delivers 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb - for ambient lighting when added.

Light color and feel

If you add the optional light kit, it offers CCT Select technology with three color temperatures: 3000K warm white, 4000K bright white, and 5000K daylight. The 90 CRI rating ensures colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable via the remote or app.

Sizing and fit

With a 72-inch blade sweep and overall dimensions of 72 x 72 x 15.96 inches, this fan suits large rooms. It comes with an 8-inch downrod; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height. The canopy fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees.
