Fanimation Wrap Custom 56in 3-Blade Smart Ceiling Fan | Modern Black and Brushed Nickel Composite Blades | Covered Patio | Model FPD8530BL-56BN

A 56-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Wrap Custom collection, designed for covered outdoor and indoor spaces, with a black finish and three brushed nickel composite blades.

The Wrap Custom ceiling fan makes a striking visual statement with its smoothly curved and twisted blades, a design that stands out in any room. Finished in black with brushed nickel composite blades, it brings a modern, sculptural look to covered patios, porches, sunrooms, and large bedrooms. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, it delivers powerful airflow while keeping energy use low. This version does not include a light kit, offering a clean, minimalist profile for spaces where overhead lighting is not needed.

Best for

• Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
• Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round air circulation
• Large bedrooms and living areas up to 20x20 ft, with a 56-inch blade sweep for broad airflow
• Homes with smart assistants, thanks to Wi-Fi fanSync app and voice control compatibility
• High ceilings up to a 27-degree slope, using the included 4.5-inch downrod or optional longer downrods

Not ideal for

• Spaces directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
• Rooms where you need an integrated light fixture, since this model does not include a light kit
• Very small rooms under 8x8 ft, where a 56-inch fan may feel oversized

How bright is it?

This fan does not include a light kit, so there is no built-in brightness. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt dimmable LED light kit (sold separately) that provides up to 1600 lumens, about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, with adjustable color temperature.

Light color and feel

If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from 3000K warm white, 4000K bright white, or 5000K daylight, with a high CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering. The light is dimmable, letting you set the perfect ambiance for any occasion.

Sizing and fit

This fan measures 56 inches in diameter and hangs 12.46 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the fan (without a light kit). It includes a 4.5-inch downrod and is designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height for maximum airflow.
