Description
An 84-inch smart ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for very large indoor rooms and covered outdoor spaces, finished in dark bronze with black composite blades.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan from Fanimation is built for spaces that demand serious airflow. Its three aerodynamic composite blades are driven by a whisper-quiet DC motor that moves up to 10,387 CFM on high, making it a powerful choice for great rooms, open-plan living areas, and covered patios. With fanSync Wi-Fi, you can control speed and more from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote puts every function at your fingertips. This version is compatible with an optional LED light kit (sold separately) for added versatility.
Best for
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas 400 sq ft or larger that need serious air movement
- Covered patios, pergolas, and porches - wet-rated for outdoor exposure
- Bedrooms and home offices where whisper-quiet operation and smart control matter
- High ceilings up to 27° slope, with optional downrods available for optimal height
- Energy-conscious homes - Energy Star certified with a reversible DC motor
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 14 x 14 ft - the 84-inch sweep will overpower the space
- Indoor-only installations if you need a fan that can handle direct rain - this one is wet-rated, so it's actually fine outdoors
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft unless you use a flush mount (not included)
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional light kit you choose. The compatible 18-watt LED kit (sold separately) produces 1,600 lumens, suitable for ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you'll have CCT Select technology with 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K options, and a 90 CRI for accurate color rendering. The opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 84 inches in blade sweep and hangs 16.42 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the motor housing. It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°, and comes with an 8-inch downrod. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height. The canopy is 5.75 inches in diameter, and the housing is 7.09 inches.
