Fanimation TriAire Custom 84in 3-Blade Smart Ceiling Fan with 12in LED Light Kit | Brushed Satin Brass and Dark Walnut | Model FPD8515BS-84DWAW-12LK

An 84-inch smart ceiling fan with a 12-inch integrated LED light kit, featuring three dark walnut composite blades in a brushed satin brass finish, ideal for large covered outdoor and indoor living spaces.

The TriAire Custom from Fanimation combines a sleek, aerodynamic three-blade design with a powerful yet quiet DC motor. The brushed satin brass housing and dark walnut blades create a contemporary, warm aesthetic. This version includes a 12-inch, 40-watt dimmable LED light kit with CCT Select technology, offering five color temperatures from warm white to daylight. With fanSync Wi-Fi, you can control the fan and light via voice or smartphone. Energy Star certified and damp-rated, it's built for year-round comfort in covered patios, porches, sunrooms, and large rooms.

Best for

• Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant composite blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
• Large living rooms and great rooms (over 400 sq ft) needing high airflow up to 10,387 CFM
• Sunrooms and three-season rooms with high ceilings, using optional downrods up to 72 inches
• Bedrooms and home offices where the 16-speed DC motor provides whisper-quiet operation
• Smart home setups, with voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant through the fanSync app

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 100 sq ft, where the 84-inch blade sweep may overwhelm the space
• Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
• Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, unless you use a flush mount (not included) to maintain proper clearance

How bright is it?

The integrated 40-watt LED light kit produces 3600 lumens, comparable to a 250-watt incandescent bulb, providing bright, ample illumination for large living areas and covered outdoor spaces.

Light color and feel

The light kit offers CCT Select technology with five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral white), 4000K (bright white), and 5000K (daylight). With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, flattering skin tones and wood finishes. The light is dimmable via the remote or app.
