Description
A smart 84-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for large covered patios and great rooms.
The TriAire Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with serious airflow. Its three aerodynamic composite blades in dark walnut spin on a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, while the dark bronze housing adds a refined, contemporary touch. With Wi-Fi fanSync, you can control speed, modes, and more from your phone or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote puts everything at your fingertips. This version is light-kit compatible, so you can add a light later if needed.
Best for
- Covered patios, pergolas, and porches where wet-rated durability matters
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas 20x20 ft or larger
- High ceilings with optional downrods up to 72 inches for optimal airflow
- Smart-home setups with Alexa or Google Assistant voice control
- Year-round comfort with a reversible motor for summer and winter airflow
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft where an 84-inch sweep would overwhelm the space
- Indoor-only installations if you need a fan that can also handle direct rain exposure (this one is wet-rated, but check local codes)
- Ceilings steeper than 27 degrees without an adapter
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on your room's other lighting. It's designed for airflow, not illumination.
Light color and feel
No integrated light, but it's compatible with Fanimation's optional LED light kits (sold separately) that offer CCT Select technology for warm to daylight tones.
