Fanimation TriAire Custom 84in 1-Light Ceiling Fan | Modern Brushed Satin Brass and Matte White Composite Blades | Covered | Model FPD8515BS-84MWW-LK

An 84-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces like living rooms, covered patios, and sunrooms.

The TriAire Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern aesthetic with powerful, efficient airflow. Its three aerodynamic composite blades in matte white contrast beautifully with the brushed satin brass motor housing, creating a fixture that feels both contemporary and refined. The included LED light kit delivers bright, energy-efficient illumination with adjustable color temperature, while the whisper-quiet DC motor and fanSync Wi-Fi technology put total control at your fingertips—via remote, app, or voice assistant.

Best for

• Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
• Large living rooms and great rooms (over 300 sq ft) needing high airflow up to 10,387 CFM
• Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity (damp-rated)
• Smart home setups—control with Alexa, Google Assistant, or the fanSync app
• Year-round comfort with reversible motor for summer and winter airflow

Not ideal for

• Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
• Small rooms under 100 sq ft where an 84-inch sweep would overwhelm the space
• Ceilings with a slope greater than 27 degrees without additional mounting hardware

How bright is it?

The integrated 18-watt LED module produces 1600 lumens—comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb—making it bright enough for ambient lighting in large rooms. It's dimmable, so you can adjust from a soft glow to full illumination.

Light color and feel

With CCT Select technology, you can choose from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight) to match your mood and decor. The 90 CRI ensures colors appear vibrant and true, ideal for living spaces and entertaining areas. The opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly, reducing glare.

Sizing and fit

This fan spans 84 inches in diameter and hangs 18.12 inches from the ceiling with the included 8-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 27 degrees). For higher ceilings, optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7–9 ft hanging height. The canopy is 5.75 inches in diameter, and the housing is 7.09 inches wide.
