Description
A 72-inch smart ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for large indoor rooms and covered outdoor spaces like patios and pergolas.
The TriAire Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek matte white motor housing with three matte white composite blades for a clean, modern look. Its high-output DC motor moves air quietly and efficiently, and it's compatible with an optional LED light kit (sold separately) for added versatility. With Wi-Fi fanSync and a handheld remote, you get full control from your phone or voice assistant.
Best for
- Covered patios, pergolas, and porches where wet-rated durability is needed
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas up to 400 sq ft
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient airflow
- Outdoor kitchens and dining areas with 9-10 ft ceilings
Not ideal for
- Indoor rooms with ceilings under 8 ft unless you use a shorter downrod
- Spaces where you prefer a fan with an integrated light kit
- Small rooms under 100 sq ft where a 72-inch sweep is overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional light kit you choose. The compatible 18-watt LED kit (sold separately) delivers 1600 lumens, comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white), and 5000K (daylight) with CCT Select technology. The 90 CRI ensures colors appear vivid and accurate.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 72 inches wide by 16.42 inches from ceiling to bottom. It comes with an 8-inch downrod and is compatible with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees. For optimal airflow, the blades should hang 7-9 feet above the floor; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available.
