Fanimation TriAire Custom 72in 3-Blade Smart Ceiling Fan with 12in LED Light Kit | Dark Bronze and Koa Composite Blades | Model FPD8515DZW-72KW-12LK

A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated 12-inch LED light kit for large indoor rooms and covered outdoor spaces, finished in dark bronze with Koa composite blades.

The TriAire Custom ceiling fan combines a sleek, aerodynamic three-blade design with a powerful yet quiet DC motor, delivering airflow up to 8,666 CFM. This version includes a 12-inch, 40-watt dimmable LED light kit with CCT Select technology, offering five color temperatures from warm white to daylight. The dark bronze finish and Koa blades bring a warm, natural contrast that suits modern and transitional interiors. With Fanimation's fanSync Wi-Fi technology, you can control speed, light, and modes via voice or app, and the included handheld remote offers full control right out of the box.

Best for

• Great rooms, open-plan living areas, and large bedrooms (over 18x20 ft) needing high-volume airflow and bright illumination
• Covered patios, gazebos, pergolas, and porches, thanks to its wet location rating
• Spaces with 8-9 ft ceilings when paired with the included 8-inch downrod
• Year-round comfort with a reversible motor for summer and winter airflow
• Smart home setups with voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 12x12 ft where a 72-inch sweep would overpower the space
• Low ceilings under 7 ft without a flush-mount option (this model requires a downrod)
• Those who prefer a fan without a light kit (this version includes one)

How bright is it?

The integrated 40-watt LED light kit outputs 3600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 250W incandescent bulb, providing bright, room-filling light suitable for large living areas or entertaining spaces.

Light color and feel

The light kit offers CCT Select technology with five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral white), 4000K (bright white), and 5000K (daylight), letting you adjust the mood from cozy to crisp. The LED is dimmable and has a CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering.

Sizing and fit

With a 72-inch blade sweep and overall dimensions of 72 x 72 x 19.69 inches (with light kit), this fan suits large spaces. The included 8-inch downrod places the fan 19.69 inches from the ceiling; optional downrods up to 72 inches allow for higher ceilings. It fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees.
