Fanimation TriAire Custom 72in 1-Light Ceiling Fan | Modern Matte White and Natural Composite Blades | Covered Patio | Model FPD8515MWW-72NW-LK

A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large indoor rooms and covered outdoor spaces, finished in matte white with natural composite blades.

The TriAire Custom from Fanimation combines a sleek, modern look with powerful performance. Its three aerodynamic composite blades are driven by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor that delivers up to 8,666 CFM of airflow. The integrated 18-watt LED module provides 1,600 lumens of adjustable light, and the opal frosted shade creates a soft, even glow. With fanSync Wi-Fi, you can control speed, light color, and more from your smart device or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote offers convenient manual control.

Best for

• Covered patios, gazebos, pergolas, and porches where wet-rated durability matters
• Great rooms, open-concept living areas, and large bedrooms needing powerful airflow
• Spaces with ceilings up to 27° slope, using the included 8-inch downrod or optional longer downrods
• Homes that want smart control via Wi-Fi, voice assistants, or the included remote
• Year-round comfort with the reversible motor for summer and winter airflow

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 12x12 ft where a 72-inch sweep would overwhelm the space
• Indoor-only installations if you prefer a fan without a light kit (this model includes one)
• Low ceilings under 8 ft without a flush-mount option (downrod required)

How bright is it?

This light kit produces 1,600 lumens—comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb—suitable for ambient lighting in a large room or as a secondary light source. It's dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to your preference.

Light color and feel

With CCT Select technology, you can choose from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (neutral), or 5000K (daylight) to match the mood. The 90 CRI rating ensures colors appear vivid and accurate. The opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly, reducing glare.

Sizing and fit

This fan spans 72 inches with an 18.12-inch drop from ceiling to bottom (with light kit). It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°, and the included 8-inch downrod suits standard 8-9 ft ceilings. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
