Fanimation TriAire Custom 72in 1-Light Ceiling Fan | Dark Bronze and Brushed Nickel Blades | Covered Patio & Living | Model FPD8515DZW-72BNW-12LK

A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated 12-inch LED light kit, designed for large indoor rooms and covered outdoor spaces like patios and pergolas.

The TriAire Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with serious airflow. The dark bronze motor housing and three brushed nickel composite blades give it a refined, contemporary look that suits both living areas and covered outdoor entertaining spaces. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, it delivers up to 8,666 CFM on high, making it a powerful choice for large rooms. The integrated 12-inch LED light kit offers five color temperatures from warm white to daylight, so you can set the perfect ambiance. With fanSync Wi-Fi technology and the included handheld remote, you get full control from your phone, voice assistant, or remote.

Best for

• Covered patios, pergolas, gazebos, and porches - wet rated for direct rain exposure
• Great rooms and open-concept living areas 18x20 ft or larger
• Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient airflow
• Spaces with ceilings up to 27° slope, using the included 8-inch downrod or optional longer downrods
• Smart home setups - works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and the fanSync app

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 10x10 ft - the 72-inch blade sweep is oversized for tight spaces
• Low ceilings under 8 ft without a flush mount option (not included)
• Those who prefer a traditional fan with pull chains - this fan is remote and app controlled

How bright is it?

The integrated LED light kit produces 3600 lumens - comparable to a 250W incandescent bulb. This is bright enough to serve as the primary light source in a large living room or covered patio. With five color temperature settings (2700K to 5000K), you can go from warm and cozy to crisp daylight.

Light color and feel

Choose from 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral white, 4000K cool white, or 5000K daylight. The 90 CRI rating means colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for art and decor. The opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly, reducing glare. The light is dimmable, and you can adjust brightness with the remote or app.

Sizing and fit

This fan measures 72 inches in diameter and hangs 19.69 inches from the ceiling with the included 8-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°. The canopy is 5.75 inches in diameter, and the housing is 7.09 inches.
