Description
A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large indoor rooms and covered outdoor spaces like patios and pergolas.
The TriAire Custom from Fanimation brings modern style and powerful performance to any large space. Its three aerodynamic composite blades in matte black are driven by a quiet DC motor that delivers up to 8,666 CFM of airflow. The integrated LED light kit provides 1,600 lumens of bright, energy-efficient light with CCT Select technology, letting you choose from three color temperatures. With fanSync Wi-Fi and the included handheld remote, you have full control over speed, light, and more from anywhere.
Best for
- Covered patios, pergolas, and porches where wet-rated durability is a must
- Large living rooms, great rooms, and open-concept spaces needing powerful airflow
- Bedrooms and home offices where quiet operation and smart control are valued
- High ceilings up to 27° slope, with optional downrods for optimal height
- Year-round comfort with a reversible motor for summer and winter airflow
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft where a 72-inch sweep would overwhelm the space
- Indoor-only installations if you need a fan for a fully enclosed room without outdoor exposure
- Spaces with ceilings lower than 8 ft unless you use a flush mount (not included)
How bright is it?
With 1,600 lumens, this light kit is roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb—bright enough to illuminate a medium to large living area or patio. It's suitable as a primary light source for everyday use.
Light color and feel
Choose from 3000K (soft white), 4000K (cool white), or 5000K (daylight) to match your space and mood. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate, making it suitable for kitchens or art displays. The light is dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 72 inches in blade sweep and 18.12 inches from ceiling to bottom with the light kit. It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°, and comes with an 8-inch downrod. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7–9 ft hanging height.
