Fanimation TriAire Custom 60in 3-Blade Wet Rated Smart Ceiling Fan with LED Light Kit | Black Composite Blades | Indoor | Model FPD8514BLM-60BLW-LK

A 60-inch marine-grade smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, finished in black with black composite blades—ideal for indoor and outdoor living spaces.

The TriAire Custom by Fanimation combines powerful airflow with versatile lighting in one sleek package. Built with marine-grade materials and a wet-rated design, it withstands direct rain, humidity, and salt air, making it perfect for patios, pergolas, and covered porches. The integrated 18-watt LED light kit delivers 1,600 lumens with three selectable color temperatures (3000K, 4000K, 5000K) and a high CRI of 90 for natural, accurate color. With 16 speeds and a quiet DC motor, this fan keeps large spaces comfortable while the included remote and fanSync app put control at your fingertips.

Best for

• Covered patios, pergolas, and gazebos where both airflow and illumination are needed
• Large living rooms, great rooms, and open-concept spaces up to 20x20 ft
• Outdoor dining areas where adjustable light color (warm to daylight) enhances the ambiance
• Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient airflow with 16 speed options
• Smart home setups—control via the Fanimation fanSync app or voice assistants

Not ideal for

• Rooms with ceilings lower than 7 ft—the included 4.5-inch downrod may not provide enough clearance
• Spaces where you prefer a fan without a light kit—this model includes the integrated LED light
• Indoor-only installations if you don't need the wet-rated durability (a standard indoor fan may be more cost-effective)

How bright is it?

The integrated LED light kit produces 1,600 lumens—about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb—providing ample illumination for outdoor entertaining or large indoor spaces. It's dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.

Light color and feel

Choose from three color temperatures: 3000K warm white for a cozy, inviting glow; 4000K bright white for task-oriented lighting; or 5000K daylight for a crisp, energizing feel. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and true-to-life, ideal for outdoor kitchens or reading areas.

Sizing and fit

With a 60-inch blade sweep, this fan is best for large rooms (up to 400 sq ft) and outdoor areas. The overall dimensions are 60 inches wide by 60 inches deep by 12.42 inches high (without light kit) or 18.12 inches high (with light kit). It mounts to flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees. The included 4.5-inch downrod places the fan close to the ceiling; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve a 7-9 ft hanging height.
