Fanimation TriAire Custom 60in 3-Blade Smart Ceiling Fan | Silver and Weathered Wood Composite | Indoor & Outdoor Wet Rated | Model FPD8514SLW-60WEW

A 60-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's TriAire Custom collection, finished in silver with weathered wood blades, for large indoor rooms and fully exposed outdoor spaces.

This TriAire Custom fan pairs a sleek silver motor housing with three slender weathered wood composite blades for a modern, airy look. Its high-performance DC motor delivers powerful airflow up to 6,765 CFM while staying quiet and energy efficient. With Wi-Fi fanSync, you can control the fan from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote puts 16 speeds and all functions at your fingertips.

Best for

• Great rooms and open-plan living areas 18x20 ft or larger, where its 60-inch sweep moves air effectively
• Covered and fully exposed outdoor spaces like patios, pergolas, gazebos, and porches, thanks to its wet rating
• Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient airflow with 16 speed options
• High ceilings up to 27° slope, with optional downrods up to 72 inches to reach the ideal 7–9 ft hanging height
• Year-round comfort with a reversible motor for summer cooling and winter air circulation

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 10x10 ft where a 60-inch fan may feel oversized
• Low ceilings under 8 ft without a flush-mount option (this fan requires a downrod)
• Those who prefer a fan with an integrated light kit (this model is light-kit adaptable, but the kit is sold separately)

How bright is it?

This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional 18W LED light kit (sold separately), which provides 1600 lumens—comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb—suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.

Light color and feel

If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from 3000K warm white, 4000K bright white, or 5000K daylight, with a high CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering. The light is dimmable, and the included remote lets you adjust brightness and color temperature.

Sizing and fit

With a 60-inch blade sweep and overall dimensions of 60 x 60 x 12.92 inches, this fan suits large rooms. It mounts on flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°, and comes with a 4.5-inch downrod. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7–9 ft hanging height. The fan weighs 17.26 lbs.
