Fanimation TriAire Custom 60in 3-Blade Smart Ceiling Fan | Dark Bronze and Black Composite Blades | Indoor & Outdoor Wet | Model FPD8514DZW-60BLW

A 60-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's TriAire Custom collection, finished in dark bronze with black composite blades, designed for both indoor and outdoor wet locations.

The TriAire Custom ceiling fan pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with serious airflow. Its three slender composite blades and dark bronze motor housing give it a contemporary look that works in covered patios, pergolas, and open-plan living areas. The high-performance DC motor is quiet, energy-efficient, and reversible for year-round comfort. With built-in Wi-Fi and FanSync technology, you can control the fan from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote puts 16 speeds and all functions at your fingertips.

Best for

• Covered patios, pergolas, and porches where wet-rated durability is essential
• Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings up to 27° slope
• Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient air circulation
• Outdoor kitchens and dining areas where a light kit may be added later
• Homes with smart assistants like Alexa or Google Home for voice control

Not ideal for

• Rooms with ceilings lower than 7 feet unless using a shorter downrod (not included)
• Indoor-only use if you need a fan with an integrated light (this model is compatible with a separate light kit)
• Spaces where you prefer a traditional five-blade fan aesthetic

How bright is it?

This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the light kit you add. The compatible 18-watt LED kit (sold separately) delivers 1600 lumens—roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb—suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms.

Light color and feel

If you add the optional LED light kit, you can choose from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (bright white), or 5000K (daylight) to match your mood and décor. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vivid and natural.

Sizing and fit

With a 60-inch blade sweep and a 14° blade pitch, this fan moves up to 6,765 CFM of air, ideal for rooms up to 400 square feet. The overall dimensions are 60"(L) x 60"(W) x 12.92"(H), with a 4.5-inch downrod included. For optimal airflow, mount the fan so the blades are 7–9 feet above the floor; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The fan is designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°.
