Fanimation TriAire Custom 60in 1-Light Smart Ceiling Fan | Black and Black Blades | Covered Patio & Living Room | Model FPD8514BLW-60BLW-12LK

A 60-inch wet-rated smart ceiling fan with an integrated 12-inch LED light kit, designed for large covered outdoor spaces and expansive indoor rooms.

The TriAire Custom ceiling fan combines sleek modern design with powerful performance. Its three slender composite blades in a black finish complement the black motor housing. The integrated 40-watt LED light kit features CCT Select technology, offering five color temperatures from 2700K to 5000K. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, this fan delivers airflow up to 6,765 CFM. With Wi-Fi connectivity and the included handheld remote, you can control speed, light, and modes from your smart device or voice assistant.

Best for

• Covered patios, pergolas, and gazebos where wet-rated durability is essential
• Large living rooms and great rooms up to 22x22 ft, providing strong airflow and bright ambient lighting
• Outdoor kitchens and dining areas, adding comfort and illumination for evening gatherings
• Rooms with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod or optional longer downrods
• Homeowners who want a single fixture that provides both air circulation and adjustable lighting

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 120 sq ft where a 60-inch fan may feel overpowering
• Spaces that require a fan without a light kit (this model includes one)
• Low ceilings under 8 ft without a flush-mount option (downrod required)

How bright is it?

This fan's integrated LED light kit produces 3600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 250-watt incandescent bulb. That's bright enough to serve as the primary light source for a large living room or covered patio.

Light color and feel

With CCT Select technology, you can adjust the light color from 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight, with intermediate options at 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K. This flexibility lets you match the mood - cozy and warm for evenings, crisp and energizing for daytime activities. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and true, ideal for outdoor entertaining or showcasing decor.

Sizing and fit

With a 60-inch blade sweep and a low-profile 15.93-inch height (from ceiling to bottom of light kit), this fan suits rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings. The included 4.5-inch downrod provides a 12.92-inch drop without the light kit; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy is 5.75 inches in diameter, and the housing is 7.09 inches wide.
