Description
A 56-inch smart ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in brushed satin brass with weathered wood composite blades.
The TriAire Custom from Fanimation brings a modern, organic touch to any room. Three slender composite blades in a weathered wood finish spin on a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor that moves up to 6,775 CFM—enough to keep a large living room or covered patio comfortable. This version is light-kit compatible, so you can add Fanimation's integrated LED light kit later if you choose. With built-in Wi-Fi and the included handheld remote, you control speed, direction, and more from your phone or voice assistant.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
- Primary bedrooms and living rooms up to 20x20 ft, providing strong airflow without a light fixture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round comfort and a modern focal point
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high ceilings, where the damp rating allows safe use
- Smart-home setups—control via Fanimation fanSync app or Alexa/Google voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms that need a light source from the fan—this model has no light kit (sold separately)
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft unless you use a flush mount (downrod included is 4.5 in)
Style and finish
The brushed satin brass motor housing pairs beautifully with the weathered wood blades, creating a warm, contemporary look that fits coastal, farmhouse, and modern interiors. The composite blades are durable and resistant to moisture, making them ideal for humid environments.
