Fanimation TriAire Custom 56in 1-Light Smart Ceiling Fan | Black and Weathered Wood Blades | Covered Patio & Living Room | Model FPD8514BLW-56WEW-LK

A 56-inch wet-rated smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.

The TriAire Custom ceiling fan blends modern minimalism with high performance. Its three slender composite blades in a weathered wood finish contrast beautifully with the sleek black motor housing. The integrated 18-watt LED light kit features CCT Select technology, letting you choose from warm white, bright white, or daylight. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, this fan delivers powerful airflow up to 6,775 CFM while remaining whisper-quiet. With Wi-Fi connectivity and the included handheld remote, you can control speed, light, and modes from your smart device or voice assistant.

Best for

• Covered patios, pergolas, and gazebos where wet-rated durability is essential
• Large living rooms and great rooms up to 20x20 ft, providing strong airflow and ambient lighting
• Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient air circulation with adjustable light color
• Outdoor kitchens and dining areas, adding comfort and illumination for evening gatherings
• Rooms with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod or optional longer downrods

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 100 sq ft where a 56-inch fan may feel overpowering
• Indoor-only applications if you prefer a fan without a light kit (this model includes one)
• Low ceilings under 8 ft without a flush-mount option (downrod required)

How bright is it?

This fan's integrated LED light kit produces 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. That's plenty for ambient lighting in a living room or covered patio, but not intended as the sole light source for task-heavy areas like kitchens or workspaces.

Light color and feel

With CCT Select technology, you can adjust the light color from 3000K warm white to 4000K bright white to 5000K daylight. This flexibility lets you match the mood - cozy and warm for evenings, crisp and energizing for daytime activities. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and true, ideal for outdoor entertaining or showcasing decor.

Sizing and fit

With a 56-inch blade sweep and a low-profile 14.62-inch height (from ceiling to bottom of light kit), this fan suits rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings. The included 4.5-inch downrod provides a 12.92-inch drop without the light kit; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy is 5.75 inches in diameter, and the housing is 7.09 inches wide.
