Fanimation TriAire Custom 52in Smart Ceiling Fan | Modern Matte White and Koa Composite | Covered Patio & Living Room | Model FPD8514MWW-52KW

A 52-inch smart ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for both indoor and outdoor wet locations.

The TriAire Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern matte white housing with three koa composite blades for a warm, contemporary look that works in covered patios, porches, and living rooms alike. Its high-performance DC motor delivers powerful airflow while staying quiet and energy-efficient, and the integrated Wi-Fi and fanSync app let you control fan speed, timers, and more from your smart device or voice assistant.

Best for

• Covered patios, porches, pergolas, and gazebos where wet-rated durability is essential
• Living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, providing strong airflow up to 6,100 CFM
• Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient cooling with 16 speeds
• Spaces with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
• Smart home setups with Wi-Fi and voice control via fanSync app

Not ideal for

• Rooms that need a light source, as this model does not include a light kit (sold separately)
• Indoor-only spaces where a wet-rated fan is unnecessary (though it works fine there)
• Rooms with ceilings lower than 7 feet, as the fan hangs 12.92 inches from the ceiling

How bright is it?

This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional light kit you add. The compatible 18-watt LED kit produces 1,600 lumens, and the 12-inch kit produces 3,600 lumens.

Light color and feel

If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from multiple color temperatures (2700K to 5000K) with CCT Select technology, and the opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly.

Sizing and fit

The fan measures 52 inches in diameter and hangs 12.92 inches from the ceiling with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
