Description
A 52-inch wet-rated smart ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with three slender natural-finished composite blades and a dark bronze motor housing. It runs on a quiet 16-speed DC motor and connects to Wi-Fi for app and voice control. This version is light-kit compatible, so you can add an LED light kit later if needed.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and pergolas where wet-rated durability is essential
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas up to 400 sq ft needing strong airflow
- Bedrooms and home offices where whisper-quiet operation and smart control are valued
- Spaces that already have adequate lighting and need a fan only
- Homes with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Rooms that need a light source from the fan, as this model does not include a light kit
- Indoor rooms with ceilings under 7 feet, as the fan hangs about 13 inches from the ceiling
- Installations without a nearby power source, as professional wiring is required
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on your existing room lighting. It is compatible with Fanimation's optional LED light kit (sold separately) if you want to add one later.
Light color and feel
Not applicable, as this model has no integrated light. If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from CCT Select color temperatures.
Sizing and fit
This 52-inch fan spans 52 inches in diameter and hangs 12.92 inches from the ceiling. It's best for rooms at least 12 x 12 feet, with an 8-foot or higher ceiling. The included 4.5-inch downrod suits flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees; longer downrods (up to 72 inches) are available for higher ceilings.
