Description
A 52-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's TriAire Custom collection, finished in brushed satin brass with black blades, for covered patios, porches, sunrooms, and large bedrooms.
The TriAire Custom is a study in modern minimalism: Three slender composite blades in black, a compact brushed satin brass housing, and a high-efficiency DC motor that moves serious air while sipping power. The black blades add a bold contrast to the cool metallic finish, making it as much a design piece as a cooling appliance. With built-in Wi-Fi and the fanSync app, you can control speed, light (if added), and scheduling from your phone or voice assistant.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction handles humidity and moisture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round air movement
- Large bedrooms (12x14 ft or larger) for cooling and gentle white noise
- Living rooms and great rooms with high ceilings, using an optional downrod for optimal height
- Energy-conscious homes, thanks to the Energy Star certified DC motor
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, despite the damp rating
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, unless you use a shorter downrod (the included 4.5-inch downrod may make the fan hang too low)
- Those who prefer a traditional five-blade fan aesthetic
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. It is compatible with Fanimation's integrated 18-watt dimmable LED light kit (sold separately), which provides up to 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (bright white), or 5000K (daylight) via CCT Select technology. The opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly, and with a CRI of 90, colors appear natural and vibrant.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 52 inches wide by 52 inches deep and hangs 12.92 inches from the ceiling (without a light kit). It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height. Designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees.
