Description
A 52-inch smart ceiling fan with a powerful 12-inch LED light kit, designed for both indoor and outdoor wet locations.
The TriAire Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern matte white housing with three koa composite blades for a warm, contemporary look that works in covered patios, porches, and living rooms alike. Its high-performance DC motor delivers powerful airflow while staying quiet and energy-efficient, and the integrated Wi-Fi and fanSync app let you control fan speed, light color, and more from your smart device or voice assistant.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, pergolas, and gazebos where wet-rated durability is essential
- Living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, providing strong airflow up to 6,100 CFM
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient cooling with 16 speeds
- Spaces with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Smart home setups with Wi-Fi and voice control via fanSync app
Not ideal for
- Indoor-only spaces where a wet-rated fan is unnecessary (though it works fine there)
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 7 feet, as the fan hangs 15.93 inches from the ceiling
- Those who prefer a traditional fan with pull chains, as this model uses a handheld remote or app
How bright is it?
The integrated 40-watt LED module produces 3,600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 250-watt incandescent bulb - making it suitable for primary lighting in large rooms. It's dimmable, so you can adjust brightness to suit the mood.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral white, 4000K bright white, or 5000K daylight. The opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly, and a CRI of 90 ensures colors appear natural and vibrant.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 52 inches in diameter and hangs 15.93 inches from the ceiling with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
