Fanimation TriAire Custom 52in 1-Light Smart Ceiling Fan | Brushed Satin Brass and Natural Composite Blades | Covered | Model FPD8514BS-52NW-12LK

A 52-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor and indoor living spaces, finished in brushed satin brass with natural blades.

The TriAire Custom ceiling fan pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with smart-home convenience. Its three slender composite blades in a natural finish contrast beautifully with the brushed satin brass motor housing, creating a look that suits contemporary and transitional interiors. The integrated 12-inch LED light kit with CCT Select technology lets you adjust the light color from warm white to daylight, while the included remote and Wi-Fi connectivity via FanSync give you full control from your smart device or voice assistant.

Best for

• Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
• Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing both airflow and adjustable lighting
• Living rooms and great rooms with ceilings up to 27° slope, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
• Bedrooms and home offices where quiet, energy-efficient DC motor operation is appreciated
• Large spaces up to 400 sq ft, delivering up to 6,100 CFM of airflow

Not ideal for

• Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
• Rooms with ceilings lower than 8 feet, as the fan hangs 15.93 inches from the ceiling with the light kit
• Spaces requiring a light kit with a single color temperature—this model offers multiple CCT options

How bright is it?

The integrated LED module produces 3,600 lumens—comparable to a 250W incandescent bulb—making it bright enough to serve as the primary light source for a living room or covered patio. It is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.

Light color and feel

With CCT Select technology, you can choose from 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral white), 4000K (cool white), or 5000K (daylight). This flexibility lets you match the light to your activity and decor. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and accurate, ideal for highlighting artwork or furnishings.

Sizing and fit

The fan measures 52 inches in diameter and 15.93 inches from ceiling to bottom with the light kit. It includes a 4.5-inch downrod and is compatible with optional downrods up to 72 inches for higher ceilings. The canopy fits standard ceiling boxes, and the fan is designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°.
