Fanimation TriAire Custom 52in 1-Light Ceiling Fan | Modern Matte White and Opal Frosted Glass | Living Room & Covered | Model FPD8514MWW-52PMWW-LK

A 52-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for both indoor and outdoor wet locations, finished in matte white with pleated matte white blades.

The TriAire Custom ceiling fan from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with serious airflow. Its three slender composite blades in a pleated matte white finish keep the look light and contemporary, while the opal frosted glass shade softens the integrated LED light. Powered by a quiet DC motor with 16 speeds, it moves up to 6,100 CFM—enough to cool a large living room or covered patio. With built-in Wi-Fi and the fanSync app, you can control speed, light color, and scheduling from your phone or voice assistant.

Best for

• Living rooms and great rooms up to 20x20 ft, mounted on flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°
• Covered patios, porches, pergolas, and gazebos—wet-rated for outdoor exposure
• Bedrooms and home offices where quiet, energy-efficient airflow is a priority
• Smart-home setups—works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant via fanSync
• Year-round comfort with a reversible motor for summer and winter airflow

Not ideal for

• Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft—the included 4.5-inch downrod requires at least a 7 ft clearance for safe operation
• Indoor-only installations if you need a fan that can handle direct rain—this one is wet-rated, so it's actually ideal for that
• Those who prefer a traditional wood-blade fan—this is a modern, minimalist design

How bright is it?

The integrated 18W LED module delivers 1,600 lumens—roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. That's bright enough for ambient lighting in a living room or bedroom, and it's dimmable so you can adjust the mood.

Light color and feel

With CCT Select technology, you can choose from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (cool white), or 5000K (daylight). Warm settings feel cozy and inviting, while cooler settings are crisp and energizing. The 90 CRI rating means colors appear vivid and accurate—great for art or task areas.

Sizing and fit

The fan measures 52 inches in diameter and hangs 14.62 inches from the ceiling with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings, and the canopy is 5.75 inches in diameter.
