Description
A 52-inch wet-rated smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with three slender Koa-finished composite blades and a dark bronze motor housing. Its integrated opal frosted glass light kit uses CCT Select technology, letting you shift from warm white to daylight to match the mood. Built for versatility, it runs on a quiet 16-speed DC motor and connects to Wi-Fi for app and voice control.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and pergolas where wet-rated durability is essential
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas up to 400 sq ft needing strong airflow
- Bedrooms and home offices where whisper-quiet operation and smart control are valued
- Outdoor kitchens or dining areas that need adjustable light color from warm to cool
- Homes with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Indoor rooms with ceilings under 7 feet, as the fan hangs about 15 inches from the ceiling
- Spaces where you prefer a traditional wood-blade fan aesthetic over a modern composite design
- Installations without a nearby power source, as professional wiring is required
How bright is it?
With 1600 lumens, this light kit is roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb—bright enough for ambient lighting in a living room or covered patio. It's suitable as a primary light for smaller spaces, but you may want additional task lighting for reading or cooking.
Light color and feel
The CCT Select technology offers three color temperatures (3000K, 4000K, 5000K), letting you choose from warm white to daylight. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and natural. The light is dimmable via the included remote or app.
Sizing and fit
This 52-inch fan spans 52 inches in diameter and hangs 14.62 inches from the ceiling with the light kit. It's best for rooms at least 12 x 12 feet, with an 8-foot or higher ceiling. The included 4.5-inch downrod suits flat or sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees; longer downrods (up to 72 inches) are available for higher ceilings.
