Fanimation TriAire Custom 52in 1-Light Ceiling Fan | Modern Black and Koa Composite | Covered Patio & Porch | Model FPD8514BLW-52KW-12LK

A 52-inch smart ceiling fan with a powerful 12-inch LED light kit, designed for both indoor and outdoor wet locations, ideal for covered patios, porches, and large living spaces.

The TriAire Custom from Fanimation combines high-performance airflow with a substantial integrated light source. Its three slender composite blades in a rich koa finish add warmth against the black motor housing, creating a modern, grounded look. The 12-inch LED light kit delivers 3600 lumens with CCT Select technology, letting you choose from five color temperatures from warm white to daylight. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, this fan moves up to 6,100 CFM while using just 12 watts on average. Wi-Fi enabled with FanSync, you can control everything from your smartphone or voice assistant.

Best for

• Covered patios, porches, and pergolas where wet-rated durability is essential
• Great rooms and open-concept living areas up to 400 sq ft, providing strong airflow and bright ambient light
• Outdoor kitchens and dining areas where you need both light and breeze
• Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, 16-speed operation and smart control
• Homes with sloped ceilings up to 27°, thanks to the included 4.5-inch downrod and optional longer downrods

Not ideal for

• Low ceilings under 8 ft, as the fan hangs 15.93 inches from the ceiling with the light kit
• Those who prefer a traditional or ornate fan style, as this is distinctly modern and minimal
• Spaces where you need a light kit with more than 3600 lumens, as this is best for ambient lighting

How bright is it?

This fan's integrated 12-inch LED module produces 3600 lumens, roughly equivalent to a 250-watt incandescent bulb. It's bright enough to serve as the primary light source for a large living room or outdoor entertaining area.

Light color and feel

With CCT Select technology, you can adjust the color temperature from 2700K (warm white) to 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K (daylight). This flexibility lets you create a cozy, warm glow for evenings or a crisp, energizing light for daytime tasks. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and true to life.

Sizing and fit

With a 52-inch blade sweep and a height of 15.93 inches (with light kit), this fan is best suited for rooms at least 12 x 12 ft. The included 4.5-inch downrod works for standard 8-9 ft ceilings; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for taller ceilings. The fan mounts flush to flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°.
