Description
A 48-inch smart ceiling fan without a light kit, finished in brushed satin brass with matte white blades, for covered outdoor and indoor living spaces.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with a high-performance DC motor. Its three slender composite blades in matte white contrast beautifully with the brushed satin brass housing, creating a look that feels both contemporary and airy. With Wi-Fi FanSync, you can control the fan from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote offers convenient manual control. This fan is Energy Star certified and damp-rated, making it a versatile choice for covered patios, porches, sunrooms, and large bedrooms. It is compatible with an optional integrated light kit (sold separately) if you decide to add lighting later.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction withstands humidity and moisture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need airflow
- Primary bedrooms 12x14 ft or larger, where you may want to add a light kit later
- Living rooms and great rooms with standard or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 27°)
- Laundry rooms and bathrooms with high ceilings, where the 48-inch sweep provides ample air movement
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 8x10 ft, where a 48-inch blade sweep may feel overpowering
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 8 ft, unless you use a flush mount or shorter downrod
- Spaces that need a light source from the fan, since this model does not include a light kit
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt dimmable LED light kit (sold separately) that offers CCT Select technology.
Light color and feel
No light kit included. If you add the optional light kit, you'll be able to choose from three color temperatures (3000K, 4000K, 5000K) with a CRI of 90.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 44 inches wide by 44 inches deep and hangs 12.92 inches from the ceiling with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 27°). Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height for maximum airflow.
