Fanimation TriAire Custom 48in Ceiling Fan | Modern Dark Bronze and Black Composite Blades | Covered Patio & Living Room | Model FPD8514DZW-48BLW

A 48-inch wet-rated smart ceiling fan without a light kit, ideal for covered patios, porches, and large living rooms.

The TriAire Custom ceiling fan from Fanimation brings a sleek, modern look to any space. Its three slender composite blades in black contrast with the dark bronze motor housing, creating a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, it moves up to 5,297 CFM of air while using just 13 watts on average. This version is designed for those who prefer a fan without a light kit, but it's compatible with an optional integrated LED light kit (sold separately) if you change your mind later.

Best for

• Covered patios, porches, and pergolas where a wet-rated fan is required
• Living rooms and great rooms up to 450 sq ft, providing strong airflow
• Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient air circulation
• Smart home setups—control via the Fanimation fanSync app or voice assistants
• Rooms with sloped ceilings up to 27°, using the included 4.5-inch downrod

Not ideal for

• Spaces that need a light source from the fan—this model has no light kit
• Indoor rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, as the fan hangs 12.92 inches from the ceiling
• Areas with very high ceilings (over 12 ft) without purchasing an optional longer downrod

How bright is it?

This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on your existing room lighting. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that provides 1600 lumens.

Light color and feel

If you add the optional light kit, you'll get CCT Select technology with 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K color temperature options, plus a 90 CRI for accurate color rendering.
