Fanimation TriAire Custom 48in 3-Blade Smart Ceiling Fan | Brushed Satin Brass and Dark Walnut Composite Blades | Covered | Model FPD8514BS-48DWAW

A 48-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's TriAire Custom Collection, finished in brushed satin brass with dark walnut composite blades, designed for damp-rated indoor and covered outdoor spaces.

The TriAire Custom ceiling fan brings a sleek, modern silhouette to any room with its three slender blades and high-performance DC motor. The brushed satin brass finish pairs beautifully with the dark walnut blades, creating a warm, contemporary look that works in both indoor and covered outdoor settings. With integrated Wi-Fi and FanSync technology, you can control the fan effortlessly from your smart device or voice assistant, while the included handheld remote offers convenient manual control.

Best for

• Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
• Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing quiet, efficient airflow
• Primary bedrooms and large living areas up to 400 sq ft, with 16 speeds for personalized comfort
• Bathrooms and laundry rooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
• Spaces with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod or optional longer downrods

Not ideal for

• Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as the damp rating does not cover wet conditions
• Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a longer downrod to achieve proper hanging height
• Those seeking a fan with an integrated light kit, as this model is compatible but does not include one

How bright is it?

This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt dimmable LED light kit (sold separately) that provides up to 1600 lumens, similar to a 100W incandescent bulb.

Light color and feel

When paired with the optional light kit, you can select from 3000K (warm white), 4000K (bright white), or 5000K (daylight) to match your mood and decor. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for living spaces and kitchens.

Sizing and fit

With a 48-inch blade sweep and overall dimensions of 44 x 44 x 12.92 inches, this fan suits medium to large rooms. The included 4.5-inch downrod places the fan close to the ceiling; optional downrods up to 72 inches allow for optimal 7-9 ft hanging height in rooms with higher ceilings.
