Description
A 48-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated 12-inch LED light kit, finished in brushed satin brass with dark walnut blades, for covered outdoor and indoor living spaces.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with a high-performance DC motor. Its three slender composite blades in dark walnut contrast beautifully with the brushed satin brass housing, creating a look that feels both contemporary and warm. With Wi-Fi FanSync, you can control the fan and light from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote offers convenient manual control. This fan is Energy Star certified and damp-rated, making it a versatile choice for covered patios, porches, sunrooms, and large bedrooms.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction withstands humidity and moisture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need airflow and supplemental light
- Primary bedrooms 12x14 ft or larger, with the light kit providing ambient illumination
- Living rooms and great rooms with standard or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 27°)
- Laundry rooms and bathrooms with high ceilings, where the 48-inch sweep provides ample air movement
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 8x10 ft, where a 48-inch blade sweep may feel overpowering
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 8 ft, unless you use a flush mount or shorter downrod
How bright is it?
The integrated 40-watt LED module delivers 3600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 250-watt incandescent bulb. This is bright enough to serve as the primary light source in a medium-sized room, and it's dimmable so you can adjust it for ambient or task lighting.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral white), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). This lets you tailor the light to your mood and activity, from cozy evenings to bright task lighting. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate, making it suitable for spaces where you want true-to-life color rendering.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 44 inches wide by 44 inches deep and hangs 15.93 inches from the ceiling with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 27°). Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height for maximum airflow.
