Description
A 48-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for both indoor and outdoor wet locations, finished in black.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan from Fanimation combines a sleek, modern design with powerful performance. Its three black composite blades are driven by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor that delivers up to 5,297 CFM of airflow. The integrated 18-watt LED light kit features CCT Select technology, allowing you to switch between 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K color temperatures. With Wi-Fi FanSync, you can control the fan and light from your smart device or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote offers full control.
Best for
- Covered patios, pergolas, gazebos, and porches where wet-rated durability is essential
- Large living rooms, great rooms, and bedrooms up to 20 x 20 ft needing strong airflow
- Indoor spaces with 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Outdoor entertaining areas where you want adjustable light color from warm to daylight
- Smart home setups with voice assistants like Alexa or Google Home
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 7 ft, as the fan requires proper clearance
- Spaces where you prefer a traditional wood-blade aesthetic over a modern composite design
- Installations on ceilings with a slope greater than 27 degrees without additional mounting hardware
How bright is it?
This fan's integrated LED light kit delivers 1,600 lumens - comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb, bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium to large room. With CCT Select, you can adjust the color temperature from warm 3000K to daylight 5000K to suit the mood or task.
Light color and feel
The CCT Select technology offers three color temperatures: 3000K (soft white), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). With a high CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate. The light is dimmable, and the opal frosted shade diffuses light evenly to reduce glare.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 44 inches wide by 44 inches deep and hangs 14.62 inches from the ceiling with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 27 degrees). Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy is 5.75 inches in diameter, and the housing is 7.09 inches wide.
