Description
A 44-inch wet-rated smart ceiling fan without a light kit, ideal for covered patios, porches, and large indoor rooms.
The TriAire Custom ceiling fan from Fanimation pairs a sleek, modern silhouette with serious performance. Its three slender composite blades in Koa contrast beautifully against the black motor housing. Powered by a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, it delivers powerful airflow up to 5,103 CFM, and with built-in Wi-Fi and FanSync, you can control it from your smartphone or voice assistant. This fan is wet-rated, so it's built to withstand the elements in outdoor living spaces. It is compatible with an optional light kit (sold separately) for added versatility.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and pergolas where wet-rated durability is essential
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas up to 20x20 ft, providing strong airflow
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, customizable comfort with 16 speeds
- Spaces with sloped ceilings up to 27°, thanks to the included 4.5-inch downrod and optional longer downrods
- Smart-home setups, as it works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and the Fanimation app
Not ideal for
- Rooms that need a light source from the fan, as this model does not include a light kit (sold separately)
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, as the fan hangs 12.92 inches from the ceiling
- Those seeking a traditional or ornate fan design, as this is distinctly modern and minimal
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional light kit you add. The compatible 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) produces 1,600 lumens, comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, it features CCT Select technology with three color temperatures: 3000K (soft white), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and true.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 44 inches in diameter and hangs 12.92 inches from the ceiling. It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height. It fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 27°.
